Chris Furin is a self-taught cake designer who perfected his skills over the past two decades while working at his family owned and operated gourmet bakery and cafe, Furin's of Georgetown.
When the family business closed in July 2011, Chris, along with his wife Dawn, created Cakes by Chris Furin so he could continue fulfilling the growing number of requests from his customers seeking extraordinary service, quality and detail in their special event custom cakes, cupcakes and cookies.
Customer satisfaction is Chris’s number one priority. He will personally handle your wedding cake, birthday cake, shower cake, or other dessert creation from concept to completion.
Proudly serving Washington, DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia, all products are made fresh and include only the finest ingredients. They not only look great, but they taste great too (which isn’t always the case with other bakeries).
His clients include some of the most well-respected people, companies and government agencies in the DC metro area - including the White House. He’d welcome the opportunity to serve you too.
